hi everybody,

thanks for stopping by...
it's been busy around here - in a good way. we've been on the road with nanci, spent all of january in scotland, ireland. had a great sold out tour.
before heading that way pat mcinerney and i produced nanci griffith's new album "the loving kind". it'll be out on june 9th on rounder records. nanci, charley stefl and myself wrote 5 songs for the record, nanci, pat mcinerney and myself wrote another one.
nanci wrote some songs by herself and found some killer cover songs. we're really excited about this record, i hope you'll like it as much as we do.

other than that i've produced a bunch of records, let's see...for brendan doherty, jubal lee young, tony mcloughlin, richard dobson, peter nova, colleen macfarland, joe bidewell, kc johns, eliza lynn, jeff talmadge, arthur godfrey, chet o'keefe, mark barker, sid brantley, roger knott, molly irene .... and for my wonderful german friend marc marshall...we recorded at ocean way/nashville with a big orchestra. check out www.marcmarshall.de for details. I'm currently working on a record with the incredible dana cooper and a great, emerging singer - songwriter from MS called guy grande.
i have some very interesting projects coming up, i'll keep you posted.

i'm very excited about having signed with brumley music/nashville. my friends peter cronin, charley stefl, jamie johnson (grasscals) and susanne mumpower are new writers there as well. the company is run by dave durocher, terence burke is the creative director. i'm thrilled that we're all working with dave and terence, it's a good, warm feeling at that place.
i've been writing a lot, mainly with peter cronin, charley stefl, irene kelley, stan webb, wood newton and tony kerr.
great writers, wonderful people, what a joy to work with them.
i'll have 5 songs on the new marshall and alexander record, a german vocal duo that's very successful over there. i wrote some songs with scottish hit writer ricky ross of deacon blue. he's recording two of our songs for a new record him and his wife lorraine are working on. my friend and favorite bass player mark fain and i have worked on a soundtrack for a thriller taking place in louisiana. it's very spooky, swampy sounding stuff....i'll keep you updated on all of that. we're gonna hit the road to promote nanci's new record soon, we're getting ready to take the kayaks on the lake --- spring's here---life's good!

all the best
